...and another year passes
First post of 2018!
I feel like I really learned a lot in 2017, had many new experiences and have acquired new knowledge and learned a lot about myself. I feel like as you grow older, the more aware you are of how fleeting time is. Just before the end of 2017, I saw on facebook one of my tutors from when I was in about pre-school? just got married. It's crazy to think before he was only a teenager teaching me school work then he just suddenly gets married. All of us have grown in so many ways in just a matter of time that it's ridiculous! However, I am getting a little tired of my life in general. I want some suspense or surprises to happen (maybe bc I have reading too much and it makes me feel like my life is a sad one). Look, I know what you're gonna say, "you make your own life" or some i-know-it-all message. But no matter what I'm still living this city, living the same life as almost everyone else, trying to obtain a job, maintaining a good social life, or getting an education and blah blah blah. Ugh. So when is earth gonna get invaded by aliens? Or more precisely, robots?

Anyways, before I write a whole essay on how robots may take over earth in the future, I have officially read a total of 120 books in 2017! How did I accomplish that? I don't know! It was fun though, I did not know how much fun I had missed out on. Books are amazing. I'd rather read than watch movies/shows. I think I am officially what you call a... bookworm. I also got some new hobbies which included cooking and baking. I know, boring stuff, nothing out of the ordinary. But it is really fun! My baking needs improvement bc I somehow mess up the dough a lot. I also need improvement on cutting & slicing ingredients. Things tend to get a little messy when I'm in the kitchen.

I've also improved in my flexibility! I still did not get my front splits, which is really weird bc I can do the dancer's pose now. I guess I have been practicing wrong, but my goal now isn't to obtain it anymore. you can say that I've pretty much given up lol I feel like stretching really helps me relieve my stress in my body for the day, and I feel all rigid without stretching. I can see why people do yoga now, but that takes dedication. Anyways, to sum up what I've done in 2017, is that I found a bunch a of new hobbies and am working towards to be as competent in them as I can! yep that'll be a stretch
