I'm reading!
I would never be able to imagine that I would ever start reading again, haven't read a single book out of my own record that are outside of classes ever since middle school. But then I suddenly thought to start reading again at the end of last year, where I came across a free book to download on an app after I booked a room at a hotel. I did not realize how convenient it was now that you can digitally download books onto your phone and just automatically read it there without waiting for the book to be shipped or go to your local book store/library. But the Amazon Kindle app has been amaaaaazing. You can download a sample of a book if you don't know if a book will suit your interest or not, and most of the time the kindle versions are much cheaper than the physical copies. +1 So far I have read 90 books (and counting) out of 2017. I am pretty proud of myself. I'm about to make this into a book review blog, I have a goodreads account where I track all of my books there but for some reason I don't feel like writing my reviews there LOL (which is the purpose of goodreads but I'm weird OKAY)

So like anyways I recently read Christina Henry's version of Alice and it was sooo gooood. Being a huge fan of Lewis Carroll's original Alice and also American McGee's, this version was literally the perfect combination of the two and it was indeed very mad. This is the only book that I highlighted so many quotes, and yall know how much I love quotes based on my blog. I even have a whole quote list I really wanted to share all the Alice quotes in this book but for now I'll just share my bloody favorite dialogue in the book for now.

“You mean murder and eat," Alice said.
"No, I mean eat and murder," the rat said. "I'd rather it the other way around, wouldn't you?"
"I'd rather it not at all," Alice said.”
